Book Suggestions for Me?
Lately I’ve been in a reading kick and I’m out of things to read that interest me. I love animals but books like Dewey the Library Cat bored me out of my mind with all the stories about the town. Some books I absolutely LOVED were The Art of Racing in the Rain, Go Ask Alice, Puppy Chow is Better Than Prozac, Click Here, Speak, and the Twilight series. (Started reading them four years ago but all the publicity is starting to make me hate it.)
Harry Potter, the Uglies series, and other vampire books have not worked out for me. I’m not really into the whole fantasy things. Could anyone suggest some books for me to read? Thank you!!
Oh I’m 14 if that makes much of a difference.
I know it seems childish, but the *garden of eve*. There is no sequel, but it is a creepy book.

The late Dewey Balfa (who appears in the film’s sweet porch-party scene) is to Cajun… |

Ascension $9.74 Few works remain genuinely controversial 35 years after their inception, but Ascension can generate as mixed a response today as it did when it was released. In May 1965, Coltrane assembled 10 other musicians for one of his most ambitious recordings, a 40- minute piece that was a landmark in the free-jazz movement and a key moment in Coltrane’s sponsorship of the younger members of the New Yor… |

Here & Now $7.66 To be clear: America hasn’t flooded the market with another best-of album. Instead, two of the founding members, Gerry Beckley and Dewey Bunnell, were rescued from classic rock purgatory by the Smashing Pumpkins’ James Iha and Fountains of Wayne’s Adam Schlesinger with an offer from the younger musicians to act as producers on an album of new material. The respect that Iha and Schlesinger have sho… |
