How do I to paint my art to look vintage(pics)?
Ever since I can remember I have drawn pictures and never had any desire to color them.That’s changed now though.I have my own unique style of drawing and I have a look that I want for them involving color.
The look I want is very vintage inspired.these are my inspirations.

This is the color look i want for my artwork.I have a few comic books that have a similar look but, these are the main looks that inspired me.
So like what type of paint is this? also I have never painted before.I am really good at drawing with pencil line art etc so I’ve got that down but,I want to color.So do you think it would be easy yo learn?
Could I achieve color like this in a photoshop or something?
What makes these look “vintage” is the clothing and hairstyles. If you have the drawing skills, all it takes is the application of the colors you want. I notice that THESE samples appear to be scans of already faded artwork. Either that, or the scans were done poorly.
However, if you really like that look, just choose more muted colors. Instead of bright colors, tone them down with a touch of white and dull them a bit with a dash of whatever complimentary color works. For red, as an example, add some white to “fade” the color and a bit of green (not much) to dull it.
