I was wondering if I could use this to connect everything up for pub gigs….Any help would be great, thanks!!
Don’t get that for gigs. It only has 1/4″ unbalanced inputs. For the same price, get basically any of the actual mixers off of this page:

You’ll be able to connect balanced microphones (99% of mics are balanced XLR 3-pin), as well as guitar, CD/MP3 player etc, and you’ll get EQ control as well. As the other guy mentioned, you’ll still need an amplifier and speakers to be a stand-alone act, but this will allow you to plug into an existing sound board or sound system.
