controversial art, gay jesus?
im doing a controversial piece for my ceramics/studio in art class, i am going to portray jesus as a gay man.
or have him being crucified due to his homosexuality.
i want to try and make it subtle but also making a statement.
im a lesbian and an atheist, so really don’t respond telling me not to do it or with negative comments towards it.
but does anyone have any other ideas for it?
i appreciate the concern for offending the christians, but the point is to make a statement that does offend people and is pushing the limits.
homosexuals are constantly discriminated against and not viewed as equals to our straight counterpart, so after being offended for years, im really not too concerned about hurting someone’s feelings
Try putting an upside down triangle on Jesus’ feet and hands instead of nails! It will be subtle but not understated!
