What is the best way to improve my drawing skills?
I am a great artist but I would like to improve my skills. I also don’t want to get some expensive art kit or anything like that.
^^^those are terrible answers.
challenge yourself have a more advanced artist critique you and ask what you need to work on then choose something that will force you to do what you need to work on
ie. if you are told that you need to work on shading, draw an all white still life, without drawing lines.
we did this in my art class and it forces you to shade in order to create shapes and shadows
thats just an example.
try something you’re hesitant to do
i meant just the ones that say practice and stuff. that would be the obvious answer that doesn’t really help to do. if you don’t know how to do something then how would repeating the same mistakes over and over help at all?
