Arthur Miller Autobiography

Summer Reading… Helppp!?
I’m a rising sophomore (tenth grade) in high school, and I took English 1 last year as a ninth grader. I am going to be taking English 3 Honors this coming year, and the summer reading is:
A Farewell to Arms by Ernest Hemingway
Death of a Salesman by Arthur Miller
Autobiography of an Ex-Colored Man by James Weldon Johnson
If you’ve read any of these books, please give me any background knowledge, tips for reading, etc that I should know. I’m kind of nervous about not understanding these books :/
I have read the first two. They are hard to read the first time around. Sad. But after you get it, they are very good!
