Does anyone know any software for creating album art?
Is there any decent (Preferably free) software that can create CD cover art that looks professional, or would I be better off asking an artistic friend to do some drawings etc and then scan those onto my computer?
It would be good idea to have yourself and friends sketch out some ideas, and scan to computer to further edit, when you design album art, do make larger than cd size, and make around 12″ as lp size at 300ppi, then you can shrink to fit cd and casette, in a sense the art doesn’t have to be album oriented, more based on your art work itself, to be framed, or poster, or t-shirts ,
