Art 8×10
How much should this portrait cost?
There is a website Etsy that i plan to put my art upon, but the only catch is that you set the price yourself. That meaning no bids. I am a newcomer and want to know in your opinion how much this should be worthe? It is an 8×10 acrylic on canvas

Pricing a piece is one of the hardest things an artist does.
I could tell you that I think it’s worth a million dollars, or only 50 cents, but that would be my opinion. Everyone will have an opinion as to what they think a piece of art is worth. The question is…what’ll someone pay for it?
You want a price that is representative of the work and skill that was put into it, yet not price it out of what the market will handle.
Once an artist becomes in vogue, he/she can price a piece for almost whatever he/she wants.
I tend to under-price my work as I don’t think most people will pay 200 dollars for one of my portraits (do as I say, not as I do). 
I’ve seen artists charge more than 200 dollars for work that is not that good (IMO).
Bottom-line… charge more than you think it’s worth and wait and see if you get any bites. You can always adjust the price until it sells.
Just don’t under-value your work if you can avoid it.
