2012 What will happen?
I need some intelligent minds to help me figure this out.
I seriously,dont know what will happen.
The facts – Mayan’s Calendar ends in December 21st, 2012.
It has to end once. They are an extinct civilization. It wont last till 1050205 year.
Nostradamus, he was a fake. He took quotes,from dozens of other cultist books,and copied them into his,making a “Prophecies” book. Mostly,there are 2 ways you can look at this.
Scientific look: Pole Shifting, Supernovas, “The Planet Alignment”,etc.
Religious look: God created us all,and only he knows the end of the world.
This is a quote from the bible,which i believe we should all know,by observing the 2012.
“Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid…for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.” And , “Yea though I walk through the valley of death, I will fear no evil: for Thou art with me; Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me.”
You misinterpreted the “scientific look.” Pole shifting, supernovae, and planet alignments are not the scientific look. I would call those the the “internet desperate for attention / entertainment look.” The scientific look consists of the following:
1. The Mayans were a late Stone Age culture who never invented the wheel. They did not predict the end of the world, but even if they did, there is no technical reason to believe what they said.
2. Magnetic poles shift every few million years,and they take hundreds of years to do so. This cannot occur between now and any date in 2012.
3. Geologic pole shifting violates all the laws of physics developed since the 17th century. It is not possible.
4. There will be no planetary alignments in 2012. Perceived alignments with the center of the galaxy are not even close to actually being aligned, have happened every year the same way for centuries, and would have absolutely no effect even if they were precisely aligned – which they are not.
5. Trying to interpret what God will or will not do is beyond the capabilities of any technical effort and is probably overstated by anyone who claims such knowledge.
So in summary, I think you have little to worry about, unless you really enjoy being worried for no reason.
